Dress for Success Hartford's Annual Capitol Catwalk The 3nd Annual Capital Catwalk was held on Monday, June 9th at the Hartford Stage. Sara Avatapalli, the Executive Director and Board Member, made sure we all understood that the organizations mission was "to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life." The reception area was packed with a very diverse crowd, who mingled and socialized together, enjoying great cocktails and hors d'oeuvres donated and served by local restaurants. My favorites were the tasty appetizers from Dish and the scrumptious sushi samplers from Feng Asian Bistro.
